Frances Amiama
re: capable machines

When evaluating the damage to your nerve endings / set aside months / respond to others like a system / aware of its continuous assessments / a fragile electrical ecosystem / your nerve endings are dead / they are bundled, they are unresponsive.

After month 3 / delete any / all recognition / ctrl of your own anatomy / devote months to an attempt to reestablish ownership / of your own body, of your breathing, attempt to touch your own skin without damp dysfunction / attempt to allow others to touch your skin too / fail / study diagrams of your brain and mark the parts that are still yours / [alt] receptive to light / [alt] allowing you to sleep/

After month 6 / realize current only comes from quick movements / reclaim your own fingers / he is still just flesh / we are still not together / no exchange of stability for new circuitry / he is still just a boy in a body / that will break soon.
