Please Hold Magazine is now accepting submissions for its Fall 2015 issue. The theme for the issue is “Glitch.” We encourage many explorations and interpretations of what is meant by the concept of a glitch; it is a failure in function, but the results may not necessarily be unfavorable. We encounter them quite literally in experiences with video games, television, and smartphones, but the term is used widely outside of the technological sphere. Some terms and ideas to consider when applying: chance, accident, random, abnormal, imperfect, surprise, cheat, program. Work that is interactive and/or printable is highly encouraged. Submissions are due by July 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon CST. Submit work via https://pleaseholdmagazine.submittable.com/submit.
