2014 Inaugural Short Film Showcase
Please Hold Magazine is hosting a film festival in St. Louis, Missouri this summer and wants your videos! Animated and stop-motion video submissions are highly encouraged, but we will consider live-action as well. While the film festival does not have conceptual restraints on what we will accept, Please Hold Magazine is most interested in work related to mental illnesses, womanhood, and the discomfort of youth. However, we are not limiting the films to those topics.
This yet-to-be-titled international independent short film showcase will connect creators with potential collaborators and avenues for exhibition. The showcase will take place in Bar Italia's event space "Luna" in the Central West End in St. Louis, Missouri on August 30, 2014. After the event, Please Hold Magazine will publish an online contact page for everyone who participated so they may remain connected for future collaborations.

Please Hold is currently accepting entries for 5-10 minute films to be shown at the Please Hold Magazine film festival in the Central West End on August 30, 2014. Applications are due by 12:00 midnight CST on August 11, 2014. Please direct questions or proposals to Kristie Wickwire via email at [email protected].
